I have not played a Battlefiled game since BF4. I loved it! Especially playing with many of you :)
Prior to that I played BF3; I loved that puppy, too!
I just started playing Battlefield V. It seems the game has alot of cheaters and has gotten alot of hate.
From what I remember both BF3 & BF4 had punkbuster. Is there a reason why BFV does not?
Other than the cheaters, the game has been really fun.I've been having a ball playing it. The action and rushing with your teammates on some of the maps feels so epic. It feels like I'm in Saving Private Ryan :)
Graphically the game is amazing!
Any of you guys playing this?

I played every single game until I ran into BF One .  It was anemic, limp , out of balance and too much between paywall loot boxes or 1000's of hours of random unlocks.
Plus they went backwards in terms of gameplay & netcode ... so I stopped playing quickly and voted with my wallet by not buying BF V either.

I have high hopes they can return to form for the next installment ,... but awaiting details to make sure.
I hope they can pull off an amazing game in 2021 .

BF4. I miss BF4. BF1 was blah. BFV is fun, but it is not BF.

I haven't played a Battlefield game on PC since college, and that was BF2 on a roomie's machine. BF3&4 were great, but then we had BF1&V--which play a little too much like Battlefront and Call o' Dookie, respectively. I do like some of the new-ish mechanics added in those, but the short-lived novelty of running around with antique vehicles and equipment just doesn't do it for me. The damage model is typical casual bullet-sponge stuff with a few realistic behaviors thrown in.

However, with the right squad of buddies, even the worst games can be fun. (I'm looking at you, MW.)

Sorry to break it to you but I play BFV a few times a week for a long time now and it's been on a decline for some time now.  It's pretty dead and yes, with many cheaters.
