Please help me understand as I dont know which I should order. Is the FTW3 really actually worth it? I dont overclock my cards ever. Pls dumb it down for me when explaining, as I'm still a bit new to PC gaming.

Also, will 1 of these cards be better then my 2 Titan X's in SLI (Maxwell)?

If anyone else is curious, and isn't interested in the snarky response above, I found this:

One you can tweak so you can create a stable overclock with and another as a default so if you mess up the tweaked one, you can revert to the default bios and then fix stuff from there. If you plan on doing overclocking its worth it, but if not than I would say skip it.

    From this:

So is the FTW3 worth the extra money? Ill be buying 2 either the SC2 or FTW. Like I said I wont ever be OC'ing it so I dont know if 3 fans is even necissary. How bout the higher clock speeds, it is a big difference over the SC2?

Ftw 3 is larger and has more fans
Ftw 3 has 2 bios- default is 120% max power limit 2nd is 130% max power limit
the FTW series runs much quieter and cooler than the standard size cards due to the larger fans and heatsink. The extra phases in the ftw help spread the heat load as well.

A Titan X SLI will likely out perform a single GTX 1080 Ti, except in benchmarks, games or applications that have poor or no SLI support. That said the single 1080 Ti get close in some titles and would have better more consistent frame-times.
