Wow, havent seen that one for awhile.... (was very common at release, I must have fixed hundreds with the same problem) Please post your system specs and OS version. Once I know your setup the fix is quite easy, there is -nothing- wrong with the videocard

There is no error code. I'm not sure what this is called, screen tearing or artifacting, but it's just this constant glitch of texture wherever I aim at.

Its NOT a driver error This issue is caused by improper Vram loading and/or a Precision/Afterburner corruption. The fix is quite easy, I just need to know what exact model of videocard and the OS version

I used to have a directx device driver error where the card would white screen and crash but now its this.

Please reboot your system to the desktop Open your default browser (the one battlelog uses) to its home page. Now -minimize- the browser homepage Open Precision and check the GPU Memory use, please post back the current Vram load seen

As suspected a 680mb Vram load, with just the browser homepage open..... That would do it You only have like 1.2gigs left for the game... this is the cause of your cursor artifacts. Do you live in the U.S.? If so I will PM you my Phone number and we can go thru just what all that needless Vram loading is and clean it up.... Nominal Vram loading should be well under 125mb at BF3 launch out of Battlelog using Win 7

Texture "pinning" out of the crosshair cursor in BF3 is caused by VRAM overloading -and/or- the use of a OSD overlay while in game. This is a well known and understood problem Its either running of of Vram or the OSD. So we are checking VRAM loading to see it thats the issue, if its not we will turn to the OSD issue... One or the other is the cause and the fix is quite easy, once we know WHAT is causing it.

OK thats better and in the "normal" range.... So, do you live in the US or not? I can walk you thru fixing this over the phone in just a few minutes Typing will take forever as all kinds of things need to be checked... At this point it should NOT be a VRAM issue (unless you have been messing around in the NVCP) That leaves the RTSS bug (corruption) or your videocard has lost some memory (failure)

Well..... after two hours on the phone.... A broken Nvidia driver install and good old Realmware..... He has still to complete his DLC patches, but he is now squared away for his Nvidia driver install, Precision and Realmware is no longer rebuilding a broken config file every time he starts BF3 He is going to complete his BF3 patching and post up a screenshot. We will meet again tomorrow on the phone if any issues are still present after properly patching. Booya

OK... Hold on a minute... you played while downloading the patch to get the screenshot? Please download and install the free Unigine Valley benchmark --> http://unigine.com/products/valley/download/ At the launching screen use the -Extreme HD- Preset Now launch and run the benchmark. Takes just a few minutes. Please report back if -any- artifacts are seen... I am not willing to call your card defective yet, until we are able to reproduce the artifacts in other games and benchmarks. *It could simply be a borked BF3 install, and given all the things you have tried and done to get BF3 working, if we dont see any problems in the Benchmark I am going to suggest Uninstalling BF3 completely and reinstalling it....
