Let's post price gaugers here. Their sins shall not be forgotten and will be remembered when the storm is over.

Manufacturers:
  • Corsair. Their RAM prices are absolutely shameless. $900 for 4*16 2400 (correction, it is 2133). More advanced models go for up to $1,200. And they have the nerve to record funny videos on GPU situation.
  • MSI. 1080 ti founders edition is being sold for $1,600 and your kidney. Founders. Edition.

Resellers: Ecotest sells EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 Hydro Copper for... $3,870.90 and your firstborn child.

Feel free to offer yours and vent. :)

    Provide links.

I see Corsair Dominator Platinum 4x16gb 3000mhz for $875, so you will need to substantiate claims.

    https://www.corsair.com/u...t/p/CMD64GX4M4C3000C15

The kit you claim is $900 is only $819: https://www.corsair.com/u...t/p/CMD64GX4M4A2400C14 For 16gb modules, that is right in line.

Furthermore, if you are going to call out a company, make sure it is only coming directly from their official page. 3rd party prices don’t matter.

    https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Memory/VENGEANCE®-LPX-64GB-%284x16GB%29-DDR4-DRAM-2133MHz-C13-Memory-Kit---Black/p/CMK64GX4M4A2133C13

This is what they call "mainstream" and it is $904.99

On 2400, you are right, my bad, it is "just" $819. It is line with what? A year ago it was $450.

Resellers I put separately and they very much matter. MSI, for instance, sell only through them and does not have a web store as far as I see.

I have never seen the 64 gb kit for low, lol. My 32gb kits were that price when I bought them and I ignored the 64gb kit since they are relatively useless to my daily life. I guess I missed where they were prices for that range. I see them in the UK for £600 still, so I am not sure where the difference comes in.

64gb is obviously not for gaming or daily life. 8*8 is cheaper, but not by much.

I would have bought the 64gb kit just to have it if I had known it was that cheap in the past lol. I thought it was always stupid prices. Sorry for my previous ignorance to the issue. I learned something depressing and new lol.

Learning something depressing and new is what life is in the past 2 years, lol. I should have bought a new PC a year ago, instead of waiting for the price on 1080ti to drop a bit. What an idiot I was! Now, not only GPU prices are through the roof, but RAM has doubled in price in the last year. If you bought it more than a year ago - consider yourself lucky.

As for me, I'm better off buying an actual ram at this point. Like this one, for example. https://www.preloved.co.u...search%3Fkeyword%3Dram
