Any possibility as to the timeframe for when the bigger PSUs will be back in stock? I've been watching/waiting for quite some time and see 0 availability. I have a KingPin coming this week and need a bigger PSU (looking for 1k+ since have custom loop, etc.).

I don't think this is like the GPU queues. The in stock alerts may go out to some after they're already sold out if the stock is very low. I am manually monitoring the page for them to come in stock. I did ask if this would be Elite members only and he said not for the PSUs. Good luck!

One thing to keep in mind is that eVGA supposedly switched suppliers on some of their PSUs, which is why some of them were out of stock for an extended period of time - quality will be similarly excellent on the high end units, but that's why most of them were MIA for the last ~6 months, probably fine tuning quality etc to make sure they're indistinguishable from the older ones.
Not sure which lines this does & does not effect though, what I saw didn't really go in to detail on that aspect.

Obviously you've got to take what you can get, but you might have the best luck with a 1600w G2 as it's probably the least viable for miners and one of the top performing on the market.

Yeah.. at this point I'll take what I can get. I'm on notifies for pretty much every model above 1000w and was tempted to buy the single 1000w that was available yesterday on this site. I can wait a little bit longer, otherwise I'll grab the 1k unit for sale here if it is still available. Crazy to think how hard it is to buy $300+ PSUs!!!

It's ridiculous. I've been waiting for 3 months now to find a PSU at MSRP from the 2 players I trust (EVGA, Seasonic) or Corsair (less experience with them). I'm on notify lists, etc. My local MC had 850w Seasonic Titaniums in stock for less than a day after getting shipments. I've been holding off buying the 1k EVGA on this site in the hopes that the higher wattage ones will be available soon.

If in fact EVGA has switched from Superflower to FSP, it would be great to get a feel for how long we will be waiting for the new high end PSU's and what they will be offering in the Platinum and Titanium range. I managed to get a 1000 P2 from Newegg at MSRP and it was bad out of the box with serious fan rubbing or bearing noise issue when not in ECO mode. ;-/

I bought the 1000w G3 *and* a Leadex 1000w plat from Newegg. I have a 1300 G2 in my plex server so i'm going to swap that out for one of the 1000w's and use the 1300w for my wet bench setup. To your point about everything being OOS, this was my logic to snag a spare 1000w. If any of y'all want a 1000w plat, performancepcs.com has them in stock, though they're $50 over msrp. Not ideal but without any idea what is happening here with restocks, it might be worth the premium to someone. GL y'all

Apparently Microcenter just received a small shipment of SuperNovas this AM. I reserved a 1600 G2. Is this a good PSU or should I wait for the Titanium level ones to show up?

Just go to Amazon, Superflower has tons of stock of all the Titanium’s, just replenished....1600 Titanium will be at Newegg next week.....They made the best PSU’s..... sucks that EVGA doesn’t carry them anymore. I used to be a Seasonic guy but made the switch to EVGA/Superflower these PSU’s have balls LOL.

The 1600's are out of stock at Superflowers Amazon store, but you can Pre order them on Newegg(as if they are re releasing them) odd.....shows an in stock date of 3/20. Also I am in NA
shipped and sold by Superflower. through Newegg
1600 Platinum has a preorder as well for 3/18
Sorry saw your post above you already knew this....... and Amazon did have one but its gone......best bet is keep your preorder at Newegg then. You can try hitting Superflower up through Amazon and see what they say. They have been responsive to me in the past. It is strange how when they are out of stock their products go "unavailable"
Hey no worries, I have a couple 1000w coming Tuesday and the 1600 titanium preordered. I can wait a few weeks, but would grab one now and check it off the list if in stock elsewhere. Thanks anyway, we keep hunting...

I just installed the EVGA 1600w G+. The efficiency is pretty close to the Titanium model based on the spec sheet provided (90% in sweet spot).
Perhaps a silly question - is it safe to power 2 PCIE slots with 1 cable? Most of the connectors are dual-ended. I would love to power a riser 6 pin and a GPU 8 pin if possible to save on cables.
