Ubisoft teased the next chapter in its feverishly popular Assassin's Creed franchise. Named Assassin's Creed Valhalla, the game is set in the Viking-era, with elements of both the land and the sea, and a heavy overhang of Norse mythology. Not much else is known except the very first teaser shot, which shows our protagonist - an axe-wielding Viking, with the game's two settings in the background. The sea setting shows a Viking armada sailing through choppy waters in a fjord. The other depicts a pitched battle on land. Ubisoft is scheduled to make a wider reveal of the game later today.
 
Sounds like another fun Assassin's Creed game.

    I am not really that much of a fan of the modern day scenes used in Assassins Creed games but have to say they have done a great job with the series. It seems like taking time off before Origins really paid off on making the series better. It will be great to see how they are able to do with Assassins Creed Valhalla since it would seem like one of the first major games we will see that will likely see a next generation console release and the graphic improvements that come with that.

    With over 300 hours in Odyssey, 150 in Origins I just may pre order this one.

    looking forward to it have played and finished all AC games Odyssey favorite 380hrs Orgins good also still have alot could do in Odyssey but kinda got repetitive.

    I can't imagine being any bigger than Odyssey is...?  ... but Vikings seem like a cool, new theme to use.
     
    I read they had 19x different studios overall working on this game... .. That is insane.
