My GPU arrived at Evga RMA facility only to be denied because it arrived in horrendous condition. I'm pretty angry because I took all the precautions but yet somehow from here to there screws popped out and caused the PCB to warp and they send me and email telling me I didn't take proper care of it. So when I do receive this GPU again I'm not sure if it will even work.

The way it's just sitting in the box bothers me because that's not how I originally sent it, unless he removed the anti static bag, the paper towel shoved into the inlet and outlet, and the bubble wrap surrounding the antistatic bag then it's ok, and not to mention it had all the screw and wasn't warped!

And I know for a fact that I packed it to well for any of this to happen so either UPS, Border/Customs or Evga is screwing me.

When I try to open your links, I see 'viewdenied' in the tab for a second, and then it redirects me to the evga homepage.

I cannot see the screenshot either.

I have had the issue where I try to upload an image to the forum, but it never appears.

I usually upload the pic to imgbb dot com, and post the link.

Looks like someone took the screws out and bent the board... Lol, maybe customs inspection? 😂

    Hi CjGhost,

I took a look at your product a moment ago and I can confirm that the waterblock was separated from the PCB sometime after it left EVGA as the tamper seal arrived broken.  I did find that the PCB was not sitting flush on the waterblock as it arrived with the GPU bracket that surrounds the die installed inverted and not completely square around the GPU.  Screws were missing leaving this bracket loose to shift when installing the block and PCB together.  This led to the PCB to buckle (warp).  Maybe these screws were left elsewhere as they did not arrive with the package.  With this being said I can see that the thermal paste was not fully spread across the die leaving areas of the GPU susceptible to overheat.  There were also some thermal pads that were folded over not sitting flush on their prospective components.   I took apart the block and PCB and reinstalled everything correctly for you.  We will have your product checked in an inspected further with our QC.

Edit: what box(es) did you use to ship? Hopefully a plain cardboard one on the outside

A big +1 to the EVGA RMA team.  This is above and beyond.

It's always best to take photo/video of your GPU before you mail it out. You never know what can happen once it is in transit....

Sounds like someone modifying their card without considering the repercussions, only to proceed to vent on the forums in the hope that if they make enough noise EVGA will do them a favour and take responsibility for the their own original short sightedness.

Find it hard to believe someone tampered with the package enroute - the people in the supply chain /customs wouldn't have the time of day to mess about like that.
