That is true if you are pushing the limits and doing the stuff that TiN and Kingpin do with their rigs. The CPU of this generation are actually more complicated and many more settings to get stable at the extreme.
What I should say is that it is because of the efforts and improvements from EVGA, TiN, and Kingpin this generation was very easy to get a stable O/C, with not doing much other than running the OC Robot for a baseline speed. After that I tweaked the voltages a bit and have had no issues other than ordering a CLC because she is one spicy meatball over 5ghz.
