A four channel PWM fan controller with outstanding functionality, equally suited for water cooled or air cooled computers. In addition, QUADRO has an RGBpx output for individual control of up to 64 addressable LEDs.

Price and availability
QUADRO and the optional RGBpx Splitty4 board will be available shortly and can be ordered in the Aqua Computer Webshop. QUADRO costs 39.90 Euro and RGBpx Splitty4 is offered for 8.90 Euro (prices include VAT). I personally believe the price is good value for money.

Very excited to see some new gear from Aquacomputer.  I might be interested in a few new things down the line.  Just upgraded to their newer Aquasuite.

i prefer to have lots of fan headers on the motherboard, this makes it easier to monitor in the BIOS and in Windoze.....

Who knows, I found SATA connectors to break easily, but molex can be a pain to take out lol

I'd rather use Molex connectors for peripherals like fans and controllers and keep my sata connectors available for drives. The controller already looks pretty ugly; a slightly larger connector isn't hurting.

My fingers hurt just reading the molex comments.

I think it's in a great price point ($40) and the other bonus is, you can use it as a standalone with the Aquasuite software.  So if you're on air or custom cooling, it's a no brainer tbh.  Most steer away from BIOS or Window controls.  It just lacks some features that the AQ has like setting up curves and no virtual temps iirc.

The other great part is you can add certain Corsair and NZXT RGB fans to it and control both speed and lighting but I think you have to add an additional device to it for that to happen.

Only 25w per channel.  No biggie.  I mean they've figured out ways of keeping the temps down on the revised AQ6 (30w per and can go higher with liquid cooling 40w+ iirc) as opposed to the AQ5.

I believe they chose this connector for power to give the SATA power to the other important peripherals since MOLEX aren't use as much anymore.

I just ordered mine, I asked Aquacomputer to take it out of the retail box and ship it for 5 eruos.  If you are in the US and want to buy the Quadro I would do that.

I've ordered from them before and are great to work with.  If there are any communications through the phone, depending where you're from, you might have to call them up in the early a.m. hours.

They sent me some replacement gear for my Aquaero 6 once and instead of sending me the parts in their retail form, they padded the parts in a padded envelope and also sent me the retail box as they can be flattened and propped up once its in your hands to hold on to any accessories and guides/manuals.

I might grab a Quadro for my secondary rig (air cooled) if they get some in stock at the places like modmymods.

Yeah I order O-Rings and other small parts from them from time to time.  Haha lol, I love ModMyMods, Joe is the man!  ModMyMods gets all the Aquacomputer, Watercool.de and Alphacool stuff usually before PPC it seems.  I know Watercool.de and MMM are partnered up.

Modmymods were the superstars that basically managed and ran Frozecpu to high success before SHTF with their former employer before starting Modmymods.  Great group of folks and sure hope they bring it to a higher level than their former.  I can see it happening and becoming a slam dunk marketplace for all your needs.

Ironically, I don't think I've ever ordered anything from Modmymods as of yet as I'm sure that will change soon but from their former workplace, I had spent a ton.  lol

I've heard and seen good and bad things on Tygon tubing.  I know its well known to get clouded.

The best soft tubing that has been consistent in the custom water cooling industry has been PrimoChill's Advanced LRT.  Best stuff you could use.  No more clouding, leaching, etc.  I have x3 10ft retail sets of it.

Afaik, FrozenCPU has been bought and under new management or at least that's what they say on their social media page.

Nice! I just ordered some Tygon A60 G Neoprene Tubing from Frozen CPU they are the only ones that carry it lol.

    FrozenCPU? Good luck with that...

Afaik, FrozenCPU has been bought and under new management or at least that's what they say on their social media page.

FrozenCPU is completely fine, lol all the youtube drama certainly did not help I order things from them all the time.  Also Tygon A60 G is one of the best soft tubing's on the market, its not the clear garbage, its Neoprene, super flexible and works great with QDC's.  Its an Industrial grade soft tubing, better than EPDM based tubing, and certainly better than the PVC junk.  Lol I used that LRT stuff not that great at all, super stiff, EPDM tubing can dance around it all day in terms of flexibility lol.  And if you are looking for Rubber and Neoprene tubing, there is EK ZMT, Watercool.de EPDM, and Tygon A60 G Neoprene.

I am really confused now... Aqua Computer don't make it easy on people to figure out what the hell the difference between their products is...

What do I need? This new Quadro 4 or an Aquaero 6 XT? What is the difference etc etc. Their website explanation is pants.

They don't make anything easy and I've told them a few times over the years lol but they do make some quality gear, not gonna lie.

Aquaero has way more features like curves, sensors, etc.  I remember them saying that you won't get all the features obviously the AQ has with a QUADRO as it's a great buy for someone on a budget and doesn't want anything too fancy.  The good thing about the QUADRO is you can use the same software as the AQ does but obviously with less features.  Don't get me wrong, the Aquaero 6 for example is an amazing piece of gear.  Probably one of my favorite investments on the PC.  Huge learning curve obviously but once you get things dialed in, you will enjoy it.

I will say, the AQ6 is more for those that have complex custom loops or just want the AQ6 to control their loops big or small with sensors or what not.  For simple air cooling or AIOs, the AQ isn't for them but maybe the QUADRO would be just to control case fans, etc.

Check out this link if you haven't to see some of the features if they appease to you but not sure if you can find a comparison chart anywhere.

I wish I had more info but that's all I know so back to our original point. LOL
