Hello I am so desperate at this point that I'm trying to pre-order on any websites I'm so tired of competing with Bots and crashing websites so I found CDW and I have never idea who they are if they're legit or if anyone had a good experience with them in the past waiting is not an issue for me I just need to get over with this because it's taking so much time everyday , first question is are they legit? Are they an authorized EVGA reseller , did anyone actually buy from them and register on EVGA , and finally has anyone actually bought something from them in the past please share your experience.

CDW has been focused on ripping off corporations since the late 90's.  They don't really sell a lot of retail to end users anymore.

CDW is legit, been around for ages. As everyone said they're focused more on selling to small/medium businesses but they do consumer orders. The problem is CDW reportedly told another forum member that they are backordered until Thanksgiving-ish unless their suppliers increase shipments. So you can backorder but you may be waiting awhile yet for the order to fill. The post was somewhere in this 3000-series forum.

they've been around for quite a bit.  haven't used them in a long, long time though.

I also backordered from them and was told mid to late nov for all models and brands unless they start getting stock faster than expected.

Honestly at this point.. I think unless your willing to pay like $3k for a 3080 its just gonna be like a year.  I am feeling pretty down and sad.. about all this.. :-(

Yeah, its trash....I wonder if this will be the new norm...... We never really had the shoe scalpers in the gaming market. But, they have all realized they are making a killing and they will be back. They run organized groups on various social media outlets and Discord, and yeah I get that most of this is caused by COVID but I think going forward it is going to suck more than ever trying to get the latest graphics card.

I've seen their orders take a very long time to fill, dont be surprised if you wait weeks to get the order filled. I would order with them but I am kinda waiting on a 3090 with a waterblock on it which they don't have and may not have until the 3090 Hydro Copper comes out.

Not really sure what the point of a 3090 with water block is other than to just say you have one.   As  neither one gets much in gaines past the 2000 mark which you can easily hit on air.

Maybe he will be benching on liquid or gaming @ max settings in 4K @ 120/144hz. 
 
Also, a WB GPU isn't as high demand as the air cooler versions are since not everyone runs on liquid and it doesn't necessarily sell faster than air.
 
At the end of the day, to each their own.

I have a 9/21 order, seems the latest expectation is 10/12 but nothing is guaranteed until the distributor ships. Meanwhile I have had multiple newegg orders for the ftw3 voided. Had my hopes up for evga store but seems like that issue will not be solved.

 
I'm gonna remain optimistic about this upcoming week

I preordered the PNY 3080 on 9/22 and recently got an email that its estimated ship date is 10/07. I would really prefer an EVGA 3080 FTW3 so I'm conflicted about canceling the order and waiting for an EVGA or letting it ride.
