I don’t have experience with them. Look them up at reseller ratings.

They are legit but I've never used them for anything. They have some 3090's listed with prices, I was just checking their site. Only thing I saw with incoming stock was the PNY 3080.

I put an order in at CDW the moment it went live. They are a reputable tech supplier for businesses, hence the price. I'll be on the phone with them this week, I expect they will honor my order along with others in the order they were received, as stock arrives. A proper back-order procedure. If they can get me a card before EVGA/Amazon/Newegg can, they've earned my money. Simple.

Well I am on the fence on ordering from CDW and this is why: You have no idea how many orders are ahead of yours, when CDW will be supplied, and when the FTW3 will ship to resellers. You could get a canceled order.
However, I might just put an order in and queue up since I doubt I will be able to snag a card from any other reseller, in fact there may have been some availability at B&H tonight but a subpage on their website for the ASUS Tuf card just stopped working at some point when I refreshed so maybe bots killed that.
So I am on the fence but will make a decision in the morning. Honestly it was between a FTW3, TUF OC, or a STRIX for me... any of them will do what I need and from my research are decent cards.. unfortonately they will be in big demand :-(

Well I pulled the trigger and placed an order as well with CDW for a FTW3. Its $127 bucks more expensive then the EVGA website however I can't compete with the bots. If its not canceled and actually gets to me by the holidays I will be happy.
If its canceled I can always just see what cards are finally available from Amazon.. but I would rather pay a small scalper fee to CDW then someone running bots and asking 2 or 3 times the cards msrp.

Just a heads up to anyone who ordered, give them a call today to have them manually approve your order and be able to get full status information. Had a nice chat with Linda, and got a 5% discount that will be applied when shipped. No ETA yet, but on my order status page it says under shipping method "Drop Ship Ground".

I have probably purchased 10+ million worth of server/networking hardware in the past through CDW. For larger OEM's, they have a direct line and will do consulting and pricing deals.

Well at least there's a good chance that by January AMD based cards will be out. Now that I have learned to put an order in fast I can do that and maybe get a newish GPU that's AMD based. Supposedly they will be as good as the 3080..

I ordered an MSI gaming trio, my order says shipping on 9 Oct.....we'll see what happens. They have 5 different company models, price is a little higher then other sites but they are very reputable.

Same. I work as an IT Director. I never thought to use them for this because there is a premium for low volume and I was not going to use my business contact to attempt to get a discount. If I got in on doing this back last week I am sure I would have been able to see at least a November Delivery. At this point since it seems everything is locked up I am hoping that I at least get a shot at the AMD cards that should be here after the new year.. cause this is a lost cause and I suspect its going to be so until Summer 21? Maybe even past that? I remember building my current rig in May/June and having to settle for a crap card since the 2080s new were like $1300/$1400... and right now they still are over $1k for a decent one new. Just silly.

Good Luck. I hope you get your card. I tried to change my order to another model.. best they would advise is a Late December delivery. Based on orders I was behind. Seriously.. based on what I was told by CDW and Best Buy.. if you don't have a confirmed order with a delivery your ok with right now. Either you are going to: wait until early Spring/late Winter for a card, pay stupid money for one on ebay/amazon, or your going to have to get on the AMD train this time around. In my case I have a functional GPU but a new system I built thats only 3 months old and clearly being held back by the GPU. I honestly might consider a NEW 2080 for 700 or 800 bucks. I can worry about upgrading to a 3080 one year when they are not impossible to get. or.. I get lucky with the AMD train.

Thanks, checking my order status prompted me to create an account and I was able to use the 5% off for creating an account. I also have an account manager with CDW so checking status should be less of a pain. I don't mind waiting and not having to continue to search each day for stock to show up....my current setup will be fine until then.

After you place a backorder on CDW make sure you call customer service to confirm it or they won't honor it.
