I allocated the virtual memory settings in Windows 10. I selected drive C: I adjusted the settings initial size to 1200 and maximum size to 1200 which translates 12GB for each I'm assuming. My system memory is 32GB. Did I calculated the formula correctly for the tweak to be effective? Any recommendations would be great! Thanks guys! Tech screenshots attached.

I'd leave it on system managed.

1200 MB = 1.2 GB. You're better off just leaving it on System Managed as Sajin said.

Normal System is 1.5 times the Base Memory Installed.
If using Adobe Premiere Pro the 2 times the Base Memory Installed.

I have always just checked the box "No Paging File" and run off ram.

System managed is fine, but moving it off your boot drive or SSD is also a good idea. I think mine is on drive S: for "swap".

(or was it R: for "RAM"? P: for "paging"?)

Here is an interesting article, it's for Solidworks but could apply to any memory intensive program. HERE  It also has a link for SSD Lifespan.

That's the typical setup that's been around for ages, since the Win 3.1 days with DOS 6.22 and SmartDRV. It does work, but moving the page file to its own partition or drive will also drastically reduce file fragmentation. Not that fragmentation is a big issue these days with SSDs, and Win10 defragging spinny drives in the background when the system's idle.

I do have my paging file on a separate cheap MicroCenter-branded 64GB SSD that was the boot drive from my previous build. I left it at system-managed, but set it to put a page file on that drive alone. The system does have 16GB of RAM, but I don't think I've every seen the page file get close to that, even with running Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator all at the same time.

From my personal experience, I try to put as much ram as possible into a build and not use a paging file. Cause for speed and efficiency, you can't beat all ram. Wondering what benchmarks would look like with ram, no paging file and ram with paging file on an 8GB system.

I'm back to system managed as Sajin said. If it isn't broken, don't fix it. It's been said online that said tweak is suppose help boost system performance....

It's a myth that disabling pagefile increases performance. It's been proven false many times - look up any reputable article on it and you'll find that all you're doing is mucking up Windows' memory management system. Paging is important, even on systems with 16GB of RAM or more. Want to know why? Because unused RAM is not "free" - it is used for caching. Programs that are open but not been in use for a long time get paged out to make more room for speedy caching by more important programs - like your web browser. By disabling the pagefile, you make it harder for Windows to balance caching effectively because now it has to hold in RAM everything it otherwise should be paging out.

Here's a screenshot from Resource Monitor. Notice that roughly half of the RAM is In Use (the green color) - the other half is for caching (the dark blue color) and 1 GB is actually truly free. This free memory is used as a buffer zone for new applications that get opened or if an existing application suddenly requests extra memory. If even more memory is requested, like if you open a new process, data that is in cache will be paged out to make room. By you taking pagefile out of the picture, Windows has two choices here - deny the program from running (out of memory error) or begin thrashing between the harddrive and RAM. Windows has to put a program's data on the chopping block, and you put yourself at risk of instability or out of memory errors if you open up a large program that cannot be accommodated quickly enough. I know that I'm coming across as arrogant right now, but it boggles my mind that people still tout this myth around. It makes me even more angry when it's given as bullcrap advice to unsuspecting people. It's objectively wrong. Your system will function without the pagefile, but you're not doing it any favors.

I set it back to default. No need to tweak available memory for OS. My computer is already balls fast...

This is the best option. Windows has become very good at its memory management. Enjoy your PC.

Windows only chooses a large dynamically growing size because:
      A) It doesn't know the user and their habits
      B) It wants telemetry, i.e. memory dumps.

If you know you will never use more than 32GB of memory there is no reason to have a pagefile with 5GB starting size (which is what Windows sets itself to on 32GB systems).  On the flip side there is usually no reason not to have a large pagefile (unless you have a small boot partition).

Around 1.7GB is enough for most of my systems to page out everything loading during boot to my SSD and give me my full 32GB if I need it. <- And this is how I judge my pagefile size*.

So 16-2048MB (Min/Max) is good for me considering I am attentive to how much memory I'm using.  Please keep in mind that you need the pagefile set to Auto (System Managed) to catch kernel memory dumps (ignore the comment about 800MB it tells you, that help text seems to be inaccurate).

*Don't judge me, my OS partitions are usually only 40GB and I need the space.

Edit: I should mention that Windows uses the pagefile as a container for memory dumps. - During a crash the useful contents of memory are copied into the pagefile.  Then during reboot the pagefile is Trimmed, Moved and Renamed as a *.DMP file (with a new pagefile being put back to replace the old one).
