 This chipset, as you'd recall, is a re-branding of the Z370 Express with a stronger reference CPU VRM design, to cope with overclocking Intel's upcoming 8-core "Whiskey Lake" processors better. Intel is reportedly launching its first 9th generation Core "Whiskey Lake" processors as early as 1st August, 2018.

    To be expected since the launch of Whiskey Lake is supposed to be on 1 August

    I like Asus and all, but they make things too complex.  Why not just release a few?  19?!

    I could have sworn that I read somewhere that they were going to work with Z370. I'm hoping some mobos pop up at the same time so I can return some parts I just bought.

    I'm serious interest for i9-9900K special because someone meantion soldered processors.
    That will be amazing, customers will see totaly differente performance with watecooling.
     
    Just on time to try watercooling on X99 and switch to Z390.
    If I find for nice price for i9-9900K...
