ASUS today released its premium 27-inch monitor, the ProArt PA27UCX. The monitor is designed to look great on corner-office desks, and packs a serious feature-set. To begin with, you get 4K UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) resolution, with DisplayHDR 1000 compliance, true 10-bpc color (1.07 billion colors), with DCI-P3, Rec. 709, Rec. 2020 and Adobe RGB wide color gamut, and color accuracy pre-calibration. The IPS panel is illuminated by micro LEDs featuring 576 zones dynamic dimming backlight control. HDR-10 and HLG are also supported. As part of the monitor's design, it only has a single USB-C connector with DisplayPort 1.4 and 60W power draw. A hub adapts standard DisplayPort and an included power-brick.

This is more for profesional use rather than gaming in my opinion.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

You may be right, gaming needs the ability to drive the FALD really fast to avoid ghosting and a fast image processor is needed to tone map without introducing a quite big lag (big from a gaming perspective)

You really don't need a top of the line monitor in your office just to look at apps every day.  Those specs are more of a every day living room TV if you ask me.

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

It depends on what you are doing in the office. A lot of offices would need quality and a good monitor for marketing.

For sure it isn't meant for people working on Excel sheets, that's pretty obvious... and actually a bit overkill for TV where 99% of the content is encoded with chroma subsampling 4:2:0 if not less

That is the reason i say see apps all day guys, come on. Of course there are other customers like you guys mentioned, they require to have this type of monitor to do video editing, architect projects, animation, etc.
Now let me go install the new Nvidia drivers that have Ray Tracing and make a few RTX owners cry

    ...

I did not have to pay $300 - $400 for a feature that only 3 games released have . I got it for FREE.99 y'all.
As long as it runs in Full 1080p at 45 to 50fps is fine by me
The worst is that AMD users are getting it too for a great bargain price.....FREE!!
