This was a big upgrade for me. Haven't upgraded in a long time. Went from an i7 3820 to a i9 10920X. 4 cores / 8 threads to 12 cores / 24 threads My first monoblock, always wanted one. I must not have put the OLED cable back in all the way when installing the monoblock. I'm not taking the time to take my system all apart again so soon just for that. Next time. But other than that, I'm loving this :) Parts: ASUS ROG Rampage VI Extreme Encore Intel i9 10920X Corsair Dominator RGB 32GB EVGA RTX 2080 Ti XC Black EVGA NU Audio Pro 7.1 Samsung 970 Evo 1TB EVGA 1600 G2 EVGA DG-87 case EK Vector RTX RE Ti RGB - Nickel + Plexi EK-Vector RTX Backplate - Black EK-Quantum Momentum ROG Rampage VI Encore D-RGB - Plexi EK-CoolStream CE 420 (Triple) EK-CoolStream SE 420 (Slim Triple) EK-XTOP Revo D5 RGB PWM - Plexi FrozenQ LF Reaction 250mm Reservoir - UV Blue Helix EK-Furious Vardar EVO 140 BB 2500rpm - Black (6)

Nice piccies and a great set up What about the benchmarks and speeds of everything ? You should be able to push everything to the limit with that board . Can you put up more info on your RAM ? Timings , voltage and is it B die etc .

Good system! 1. Is your TFT screen off or did you not install it back? 2. How is your VRM temperature under load now vs. with stock heatsink?

Hello, I got the same motherboard and am attempting to install the monoblock. However, I can't get the screws to connect and screw in. I have it all aligned correctly, but it seems like the screws aren't long enough. I'm not sure if its even possible to apply enough pressure to get the screws close enough to meet the threading and screw in, without breaking the motherboard. Did you have any such issues, and if so, how did you over come it? Any insights from your experience will be very appreciated. BTW your build looks very nice!

Excellent hardware. Tell me, that's EVGA Sound Card with LEDs? From my perspective strong dedicate PCI-E sound card is must have in gaming PC. Using onboard audio with 500-1000$ worths graphic cards, and 1000$ worth CPU+Motherboard is not option. Price of Rampage VI Extreme drop or not? They launched and Rampage VI Encore, newer but little cheaper version of RVIE, rumors say not so premium version. Do you got small ROG VGA Holder In package? I searched him long time ago, and finally both him from guys who sell AMD CPU, Zenith Extreme and Memory. Only package of 3 motherboards on market arrive with ASUS ROG VGA Holder. Rampage VI Extreme, Zenith Extreme, ASUS X299 TUF Mark 1. Now I need to find ASUS ROG Fan Extension Card I have normal version, got with RVE10 package. But they launched Fan Extension Card II. Compatible with SSD/HDD 2.5" holes. 6 Fans, 3 RGB LEDs and 3 Temp Sensor points. ASUS Fan Extension card help me a lot to controll 3X Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM Fans. But for second 360mm radiator I will need Y adapter Noctua on every of three fan headers.

I'm sure you done something improperly. Motherboard could be bend little, 2mm is enough to make problems. I very easy installed monoblock, and mine is much harder then on RVIE because have 4 points on CPU and 4 points on chipset and 2 points on VRM. All of screws are different. And I didn't tight hard none of screws. You must to install every of them little before tight. On RVIE I think screws on back sides are... Where you have problem...

If you could please specify what you are sure I'm doing improperly that would be great. The board myself and the OP refer (not your board) to has a very simple mounting process, in theory: align the block, tighten the screws. The problem I had was the four screws aren't long enough to reach the threads at the bottom and screw in, unless one places a LOT of pressure on them. So I asked the OP (or by extension anyone with experience with THIS BOARD) for how they managed it.

Are you capable to push monoblock through holes on motherboard, to turn them up side down. You will see 4 metal threads on back side of motherboard. Install 4 washer over them and tight with screws. After that install backplate and 2 screws to hold pressure on VRM. Where is problem?

RVIEE monoblock doesn't have hole through mounting, the block is mounted from one side only, no punching holes in plastic socket insulator is needed this time.

That mean he have block for Encore version. That's Rampage VI Encore... I see... That only EK could change design methods like crazy for similar board. Even if ASUS completely change motherboard design, X299 mobo still have same holes as Rampage VI Extreme and Apex. And installation process as on RVIE is possible. It's totally impossible to company who launch products so fast as EKWB launch quality stuff... That's not possible. They need to be 10 times bigger to do that. Because of that I don't buy their stuff any more. I would need 2h to write all illogilac decissions they made... plus when they want to implement some new features like RGB they design completely different product, instead to upgrade their existent series and offer people chance to do that. I notice other companies who do that and you don't need 150$ investment if you want RGB. You dont need new pump and reservoir if you want bigger size of reservoir, you don't need completely new products if you switch on smaller RIG and DDC pump is better then your D5... no, you pay one part 30-35$ and use other your stuff. Plus better build quality. You don't need to buy new pump top and bottom if your reservoir crack, you simply buy glass tube, bigger, smaller, same size as yours. I have Monoblock for RVE10. I thought that's monoblock capable to active cooling 3 points. CPU-VRM-PCH. Same as their previous block for R4E Black, Rampage V Extreme and same as Monoblock for mine motherboard, non RGB. Suddenly I see PCH is hottest spot. They made suddenly some idiotic decision to left only passive cooling on PCH. Now it's better if you use saw and cut that part. Because passive PCH cooler connected together with active CPU and VRM cooling is not only bad because temps of PCH. He spread heat on upper part of monoblock and for 20% decrease temperatures. I would have 20% better temps to cut passive part for PCH and left Monoblock only for VRM and CPU. That's some idiotic decision because EK designers knew people used that their previous monoblocks for same and other boards have 3 active cooling spots, but now because Monoblock is not transparent they will not recognize that no channel to PCH. One of craziest idea I saw in IT industry. I would say nothing, but they didn't done that before, they build Monoblocks properly, and suddenly for same board non transparent RGB block they cut channels to PCH to save cost. On that way their ruined performance of probably nicest block on market. I recognize 10-15 such idiotic decision like you left kids in house alone to do what they want, like no director to ask why we cut water channels to PCH but left passive cooler, heat will spread on upper parts, unreachable source of hit. It's better to left default heatsink on PCH and he not touch Monoblock. Temps would be same on PCH and better on CPU and VRM.

Guy now have problem because installation method of Rampage VI Encore Monoblock. On Rampage VI Extreme and Rampage V Extreme, 5 different EKWB Monoblocks design method not left space for error. It's simple. It's easier to install Monoblock on Rampage VI Extreme then CPU block. But I can't explain to people that Slovan's and Chinese are not better designers that Germans, or Yugoslavia and China would build Mercedes, BMW and Porsche... Laing. They like RGB, visual impression is more important then quality for them.
