Apparently ASUS made a hardware change that renders the current EKWB waterblocks unusable for certain serial numbers.

Any word on why or what the revision was? Curious since my current 1080Ti Asus Strix card needs a RMA.

As long as your popular enough, you can get away with anything.

Said didn’t release notes, ek just noticed a change in the pcb and told users. Best bet is to contact Asus since it was their change.

I hate when companies do such things in silence and customers figure out after purchase.

But to be honest I don't like at all these EKWB Phoenix series.
Together everything is ultra expensive. More than custom loop.
