Here's the first picture of the ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX AQUA, marking the debut of the company's top-of-the-line AQUA brand to its graphics card lineup. The ASRock AQUA line of motherboards come with liquid monoblocks that let you cool the processor, chipset, and CPU VRM using your own DIY liquid-cooling loop. The Radeon RX 7900 XTX comes with a factory-fitted full-coverage water block. The OEM of this block is unknown (could be either CoolIT or Bitspower). The block features a nickel-plated copper primary material, with an acrylic top and vinyl film for the brushed-aluminium look. The top is studded with addressable RGB LEDs. The block sits on top of ASRock's most premium custom-design PCB for the RX 7900 XTX, which pulls power from three 8-pin PCIe power connectors.

I would imagine this card can give the RTX 4080 a run for its money.

    Yes please!

It's crazy there are no AIB vendor-launched monoblocks for 4090 cards two months after launch, yet the 7900s haven't even launched yet and we have one already. That block looks fairly decent. Gonna have to see what the performance, price, and build quality is on it...

They did announce a couple 4090s with blocks. Inno3d comes to mind. I haven't seen them actually launch though.

I like they way it looks goin to be interesting to see reviews of it for cooling and any performance gains from overclocking it might allow.

Except for that Inno3D iChill Every single one I've seen was part of an AIO.

I've seen enough build teardowns of Gigabyte AIOs that I would never ever consider one, if there's a shortcut to take to make them cheaper to build AIBs will take it. On GB's 2000/3000 cards the AIOs use thermal paste between the metal heatsink that cools the card components and the core block itself, so the entire thing is basically a multi-layer TIM sandwich. They simply screw the metal plate down to the core block with TIM between them, it's not even a single block of metal. VRM/VRAM -> Thermal pad -> flat piece of metal -> thermal paste -> core waterblock

I was talking about the iChill Frostbite that has an alphacool waterblock. That said, I haven't seen them for sale anywhere, especially in the US. I haven't really looked, but still.

There's also a Gigabyte Auros Waterforce 4080, but again I haven't seen them available anywhere and honestly there's no real point (other than making the card take up less space) in water cooling a 40-series that you can't overclock.

Oooooo I wanted to wait for a strix card but man to have the waterblock already on it I wouldn't have to build a temporary bypass waiting for a waterblock for the strix. Too bad this is white which completely mismatches my theme

As long as your popular enough, you can get away with anything.
