 Ryzen 7 2700x vs Ryzen 5 3600

Not looking bad for $199

Remember this is geekbench so take these numbers with a grain of salt.

If the numbers are true that is good value for money. I expect more leaks to occur prior to 7 July.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

More leaked benchmarks for the R5 3600. Looking well worth $199, remember this is the lowest end lowest clocked part. All chart's are at stock speeds 3.6/4.2 on x470 board memory speed 3200.

It would be nice to EVGA build 2-3 motherboards with AMD X570 Chipset.
    Max price 400$. 200, 300 and 400$ versions.
That decision could destroy plans of any manufacturer of AMD based motherboards, for sure.
They plan to ask 800$ for premium models, if EVGA offer Classified for half... size of community will increase for 20% instantly.

But then they would be betting the partnership with Intel over AMD being able to keep up in a war against Intel. History has shown AMD has looked good from time to time and then Intel catches up and AMD loses all respect with gamers for years until they are able to catch up again. It's been that way since the K6-2 processor came out like 25 years ago at an affordable price and then the chocolate bar sized Athlon about four years later.

Update results with X570 board, not much different really. Still unable to overclock with current pre-release bios.

Looks like a stock R5 3600 is just edging out an 8700k(stock) in gaming
