Just got my 980 classy and I love it but I wanted to make sure I don't screw it up. My corsair RM750 power supply's 8pin PCI cahles are daisy chained. 2 8 pin is on one cable (going to psu).

Will it be ok to use that or should I use 2 cables ? I recall the amd 295x2 you need to have 2 separate 8pins with at least 30 amps on each. Now I know that card is a dual gpu 500 watt tdp but Id though I'll ask if my daisy chained PCI power will be ok for this.

Thanks

    I'd use two cables.

I would also use two cables - can you post a picture of the "daisy chain"?

Should be able to use that without any problems since your PSU is a single rail unit.

The wiring diameter and connection of the pins at the plug of the PSU will be your limiting factors. I would use two separate cables to double the number of wires and double the number of PSU pins used; if it were me.
