So , will NVidia have a driver that will actually work correctly with it ? Since Windows 10 dropped it seems all the drivers nerf any card 700 series and below (or just downright crashes it) .  I tried the Steam VR readiness , passed w/flying colors (it better with the 98ti SC & i7 7490K) , but the Vulcan drivers that were installed started making my 760 PhysX card crash in any game . Had to uninstall it & I still have issues with it now . I hope it didn't damage it . Warranty goes out in October on the 760 . Still waiting on my Samsung headset to get the "simulated " VR experience .

I'm not having any issues with my GTX770 and the CV1. I'm using the most current Nvidia driver. I do need to figure out where I get the updated Intel X99 USB3 driver though. Oculus client is complaining that the USB3 Intel driver needs update.

Then maybe I have a problem with either my 980ti or the 760 (or combo of the two ) . I've been running it in debug mode & had no crashes in BL2 w/PhysX on high . I still get massive slowdowns in certain areas when the particles start flying , but that's normal (from a solid 60fps to 20 ) . I did check the event viewer after clearing it earlier today & I have two instances of the NVidia driver stopped working , but was not present at the moment . Maybe I need to do a DDU on the drivers again & reinstall . I'm on 361.91 right now . This problem didn't occur w/this driver until I installed the Steam VR Readiness drivers .

I bought the EVGA 980ti VR edition with the intention of hooking up my Rift CV1 to the front HDMI port. I've confirmed the front HDMI port works when I hook it up to a traditional monitor/tv, but for some reason I get no video at all when my CV1 is hooked up to it. The setup did recognize my Rift was hooked up to an HDMI and gave no indication in Windows or the Rift setup process that there was an issue. I hooked up the CV1 to the HDMI port on the rear of my PC and it ran without issue.

I am having the exact same issue as danocasas. I've also confirmed that the front HDMI port works perfectly when connected to a traditional monitor. The Rift works perfectly when connected to the back port on the 980ti VR edition but not the front port. My monitor is connected via displayport (so not as if I'm trying to run the front HDMI port to Rift and the back to monitor, I'm using Displayport to monitor).

Thank you.

I have come to the conclusion that I have to move PhysX over to the 980ti when playing BL2 .  No other games I have seem to have an issue using the 760 as a dedicated PhysX card . Oh well , the warranty on the 760 is up in October , I'm sure it will probably crap out afterwards ...

hi,
I just got my Vive today and OMG
I just wanted to come here and say thank you EVGA, having that 5 1/4 drive bay was an awesome idea, it works great.
Funny thing is, for my Vive I only needed 1 USB 3.0 port to hook up the device for the headset. \
Now I just have to get used to this, yeah, once price comes down and more people can afford these headsets, these could be a game changer......
I will say this, it wont take you away from your regular gaming if you are into MMORPG's
but it is a lot of OMG FUN

I just got the RMAed unit to replace the one that didn't work with the Rift on the front port. It works now. Thank you EVGA!
