Until I heard about the specifics of the x99 Micro boards Cap quality and what the "6 phase" PS consists of for parts and controller, and the gold content in the CPU/PCIe slots Im not going to say its an awesome board. I know there is plenty of marketing fluff(DDR4 is showing to have minimal performance improvements over DDR3 as example), but how well are these boards actually built?

I have the X79 Dark and love it. I've been planning on doing a mini build and definitely would want to go all EVGA with it in a Hadron case with the new X99 Mini.

The only EVGA products that I have ever bought have been most of the video cards I've used in my builds. My current build (i-5) is using an EVGA GTX-660TI-SC. EVGA makes rock solid video cards at fairly decent price points.
As for the motherboards the brand that I normally use for my personal builds is Gigabyte, I've never had an issue with them and they have been rock solid systems.
That being said; I would love to win this motherboard, the only issue I have with every x99 version is the 90 degree cable connectors on the extreme left hand side of the board. In most cases that side of the board (depending on full/micro ATX size) is less than half an inch away from the bottom of the case, which would mean that there's not enough clearance for the cables or connectors after they are inserted into their sockets without modifying the case in this area. The only board that would probably not have any cable clearance issues would be the "micro ATX" size.

C'mon EVGA! I'm your biggest fan. been around these forums for nearly 5 years. I currently have a GTX 780 ACX SC and an EVGA Supernova 1000W Platinum PSU. before that I had an EVGA GTX 680, EVGA GTX 580 and EVGA GTX 470! All registered :) before that i had other EVGA products, just don't remember which ones. I was really hoping to ditch my current junk brand Z68 board for an EVGA X99 board! please make this happen!

evga generally enhances their stock products with their classified editions and ensures that they are stable
also ddr4 seems like a considerable improvement over ddr3 with wider bandwith lanes and denser storage capacities
i really want an evga x99 motherboard
