I decided to dust off the old system and turn it into a home NAS. I bought a Raid controller and 4 2TB drives, installed everything, and went to boot up into the RAID controller.. and nothing.
I've tried the CTRL M like it says but it will never boot to it. After it boots, it will POST and after that, I can see it pause at the RAID Controller, but if you hit CTRL M, or anything, it just continues on and tries to boot normal. (Which fails, as I have no OS installed into the SSD I installed as well.)

The BIOs version is fairly old (P03) so i'm going to try updating that, but i'm not entirely sure if that will correct the problem...

Also, does this board even support USB Flash drive boot? I tried to do it, however it fails. Will I need a CD drive to flash my BIO's as well? (If so, that sucks. As I stole the CD drive a while ago for my current system...)

Thanks in advance! Let me know what info you need.

So now i got another question. Anyone know where I can get the BIOS update? The EVGA website wont let me download the current BIOs. It errors and says no file received. (seems it isn't there...)

You should register your motherboard to an evga account and start a support ticket about receiving the most up to date bios.

Can I run GTX 960s SLI on my 680i LT? Prices looking good on ebay to get two. If not what is the max GPU for this board?

Often times with motherboards that are this old they will not support graphics cards beyond the 600 series. These cards have legacy support and do not require and special firmware. I have used a GTX 660 with an old 790i XFX motherboard but I did not test this with my later GPU's. If I have some free time I will test my GTX 980 later tonight and get back to you with the results.

If you have a moment, please rate my service. We appreciate the feedback!

Thanks. It runs great. I was running GTX 550s in SLI and one of them just died. Performance on one 550 crappie. If going to buy new card I was figuring on an upgrade. I would like to max it out on this build in SLI.

are you using a usb or ps2 keyboard? i had a issue with a NF500 board that would not let me into the bios or anything with a usb keyboard. also what raid card are you using? it may only support ufei bios and not the older legacy type, i had this problem with a rocket raid card on my x58 classy board
