The short version... 630i/7150 with a e2160 dual core, and a geforce 9600gt. as laughable as it sounds, it does meet my needs...(Internet surfing, an occassional movie, GTA III, nothing spectacular). I was given an MSI board with the PCI=e slot cracked, and the ethernet port only works if you scotch tape the cable to the top of the case, but otherwise functioning well. since the board is technically useless to me, can I salvage the e5700 3.0Ghz dual core for my board?? Bios is already at the latest (1.6), but CPU support only shows a handful of 45nm chips, and 5700 isnt one of them. (Actually neither is my 2160, but it works none the less.)   Thanks much.
