It offers better FPS averages and mins, but it's still a lower clockspeed than the 5600X so it will lose productivity and some other workloads that favor clockspeed. It's a gaming chip first and foremost. Since it's not intended to be overclocked there isn't much to change in the BIOS, not even tightening the RAM timings will do much because the 3D cache already mitigates most of the benefits there.
