My buddy is gonna try and get a 5090 Founders, and if he can get one I'm buying his 4090 Founders. 

Nice. Yeah if I can score a founders for $1,999 I'll jump on it for sure. Gonna be like a few hundred thousand people trying to grab a couple of dozen cards on release day by the sound of it though.

I'm good with my 4090.  Only way I'd consider going to 50xx series is if a 5070 can outperform the 4090 in all aspects.  We all know that's very doubtful. 

Yeah I'm sitting on mine as well.  Still works great, and I haven't updated to a higher res VR headset so it's still good enough for that as well.  This year I really need to move to AM5 from my 5950X and now coming up on 6yr old mobo.  Can't believe it will be that long this August, last few years have just flown by.  For some of the stuff I do like the MS flight sims a new CPU is going to be a MUCH bigger impact at this point.  I also want to get a NAS, so there's really just no room for a GPU this year.
