Both cards are fine ; no sales going on on this site this weekend, they are out of the office, just click on the banner on the front page to find the card you want with the sellers , its just like buying direct and you get the same warranty, Amazon links for the sales price is on the lower right if you at first see it at a higher price or here

If you are worried about your PSU, EVGA has a few 1600 watt units on sale for right around 200 bucks.  I would strongly consider them since the price is right around what a good 1k watt psu is anyway and you'll have more than enough power if needed.  Plus you get EVGAs warranty service should anything go wrong with the PSU.

1000T2 is more than enough. 1600 would be a bit overkill for a single GPU system.

It will only matter if you are benching honestly... even gaming below 4k in the Ultrawide/Super Ultrawide realm, you are better off going with a 3080 TI tbh, even a 3080 12gb you just wont have the bench scores of the 3090 or 3090 TI. Now if you got a 3090 TI for the 1149.99 Jump on it it's not a bad card I am loving mine yet the biggest improvement it has given me is bench scores.  You will be happy with both yet if coming from a 3080 12gb/3080 TI you will be going hmm during gaming and going hells yeah during benching. I have a 1200w psu handling mine and have the powerlink on the way to split the load over 4x pcie cables over the 3x pcie cables.

Will you be happy with one or the other? Yes, I would suggest the TI they run a lot cooler. If you want to wait though wait for the 4090, get the new PSU standard and game away even with Ray Tracing on it will bench amazingly well.

my EVGA 3090Ti KingPin with nice OC 2200 (X1 reports peaks of 540W @ max GPU load)

AMD 5059X under water with (1) D5 pump & NO OC on CPU

if CPU is under a normal - "high demand software load" = 750W -765W total for this Rig, as reported by my UPS, (the load is not one constant number (keeps moving) as the software's work load keeps changing

    Rig note: only (1) M.2 SSD & (7) 120mm fans in the build & W10 Pro

The main reason I see to get the 3090 ti over the 3090 is the lack of RAM on the back of the card.  It makes cooling easier.  Especially if you are doing something VRAM intensive or water cooling the card.

Since it looks like your monitor is only 1440p in your signature I would say both are going to be overkill for that monitor. The 3090Ti is overkill for most monitors really other than people with 4K gaming monitors.
