Hi - yet another thread about this. Wanted to list my normal wattages as I play and see if you all think my card is properly splitting up power draw between all inputs (3x8-pin and PCIE.) It’s a 3090 FTW3 Ultra with Hybrid Kit and mods.
My PCIe slot will spike to ~80 watts (on a new Asus Maximus XIII Hero z590) pretty regularly.
Once I’ve seen it hit a max of 83.5watts in a quick spike.
It averages slightly less than 75 though... like 73.
My 3x8-pin connectors are usually within 10 watts of each other. Many times 2 are around 134w and the other around 125w.
I’ve seen a total board power draw of up to 490watts so far... but I do have a bit of overclocking room left. (On the previous 500w bios I’ve seen it pull as much as 512w but I haven’t lost any overclocking ability on the newer bios.)
(FYI - It’s been converted to Hybrid using EVGAs official kit, and then modded with 4 x Noctua NF-F12 iPPC PWM 3000 rpm static pressure fans in Push/Pull config - and all thermal pads replaced with Fuji Poly and the gpu and entire copper block covered in Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme. Temps are NOT a problem.)
