3080 step up question

I have been in queue for a 3080 step up for 7 months - an unreasonable time but I get that it’s not EVGA’s fault.

They have commitments to retailers and production of the GPU is well below demand.

Is it possible to switch a step up from a 3080 to a 3070 or lower card if I call them.

    u sure u would to do that. you'll be place at end of line for 3070 aka making ur queue longer

    as long as you're within your 90 step-up window  , you can cancel the current one & resubmit for any card available to you.
    BUT you can NOT move after the 90 days  & as mentioned, you will go to the back of the line each time you do it.

    You are way beyond your cut off date, so moving isn’t an option. EVGA does make that very clear at www.EVGA.com/stepup and they state it during the step up process as well.

    Not to mention, you would definitely go to the very back of the line making the wait even worse.
