Hi all. I added myself to the queue for the 10G-P5-3897-KL 3080 card last November (2020), 10 month wait seems a little extreme. But reading between the lines other people seem to get theirs a lot faster (particularly in the US).
Anyone else bought this card recently? When did you sign up? (Kinda wish evga have some kind of eta for availability).

At this rate the 4x series will be out before I get my hands on one!

The Queue system was started on 10/5/20, they are currently letting people order 3897's that signed up on that day at around 11PM.  Not sure how long they have been on that day, they obviously had a bunch of people sign up that day, but before and after too.  So it's hard to say how many people signed up in the month before you, but the cards were in very high demand back then due to low availability.  The most sparse signups were on the 3090's and watercooled cards back in Dec-Jan before the crypto boom.

Overall I'd say it's a strong possibility you'll never be called before the card goes out of production.  If cryptomining falls off a cliff next year, the secondary market might be flooded with cards and they will blow through the queues with everybody declining, then you'll be able get one anywhere no problem.

Just got that card after 11 month US que wait.

You've got a lot longer wait if you're not in the US, plus there not out of the Oct '20 US que yet.

Been waiting for a 3080 since last November. What I find concerning is that the 3881 is nowhere to be found on the EU queue tracker... not that the Eu tracker seems to be getting updated at all anyway.

it took them almost a year to get through the first two weeks of the 3080 ftw3 ultra queue. these were the notify submissions before they announced the queue system.
after october 5 2020, there must have been a flood of people who signed up. the sad reality is that the 40 series will come out before they get to anybody who signed up in november 2020

Sounds like the queue isn't exactly practical at this point.

I'd have to look. I've only seen people ask that about the 3090's.

I was just wondering what revision they were up to since I might step up from
my 3070ti ftw card... version # 1.0.0 to the 3897gpu

you'd think after almost being out for a year ,evga would've revised the 3897 by now, at
    least once...  (guessing) ..

    thanks
