NOTE: Using a fresh install of windows 10, fully updated, and latest ddu clean install of nvidia drivers. I will pay first person to provide a valid solution to my problem 20 dollars usd via paypal. My discord is Trollsies#7444. 
 
My Issue: Major fps drops in games because of dropping core clock on new gpu, so much so that my 1080ti actually preforms much better.

Please help me make this guide works, because otherwise will be forced to return gpu, only have until tonight before too busy to work on it for a month. Will either fix today or return tomorrow morning. Very unfortunate...

    It might be a thing on all 20 series cards though, because my friend with 2070 has same issue following your guide. Let me make imgur of what I see on each screen. As well as my msi settings.

    It's not a 20 series thing. As you can see I'm running a 20 series card. =)

    Okay so friend downloaded beta version of msi afterburners latest driver. That seems to have fixed it for him, and I will be trying the same thing. Maybe beta version is required for 20 series? IDK I just hope this fixes it.

    Just took another look at your picture. Yeah, you're definitely not running the latest version, and that is most likely the problem.

    That was the problem. Please add disclaimer for 20 series for the next guy lol. If this fixes everything ima lose my damn mind in joy.

    When gpu clock should go up/stay put (when using a skill in mmo) it goes does.

    Yes, your card will still adjust the clocks because of gpu boost 4.0. Purpose of the thread is how to run higher voltages & overclock with the v/f curve.

    Oh so I am an idiot who thought this was secret op way to do kboost on 20 series gpu x.x. Guess I will return 2080ti then lol. I appreciate all your help, but I play on such a poorly optimized game, that kboost is required to not have fps drops. Thanks again for taking your time to help me, ima just go with good ol fashion sli 1080ti, big rip.

    No problem. K-boost doesn't disable boost, and using the ctrl+l feature in afterburner acts exactly like k-boost. Newer cards dynamically adjust more than the previous generation because of gpu boost 4.0.
