Can the Jacob the "Global Product Manager" say something about the Situation in the EU? I know you are Reading this.

We got in on a B&H pre-order for the 2080ti FTW3 last week within a few minutes of them going up. When we paid it said the expected re-stock date was November 7th.
 
We know EVGA has no control over this other than keeping B&H stocked. That being said I am looking to reset some expectations around here at the office. Based on what I am reading should we not expect to get this card until 2019 at this point? We tracked down all the new hardware for this build (Formula XI, i9 9900k, etc) and this is the only next-gen component holding us up before we can film our unboxing/rig build video. This card was going to be the center point of the entire thing. 
 
Is there anywhere you can even overpay for this card so we can keep to our schedule? We can't even find them on ebay at this point, and I'm personally concerned this B&H pre-order we have is not going to pan out.

Well when we look at it, it seems RTX 2080 ti meet a lot of problem and i think we gonna have to wait a bit:
 
1) A very few chips provided by Nvidia to their AIB partners (Asus, EVGA, MSI, etc...)
2) Production of the cards (msi said they could produce at best 1800 piece a day while they were making 3500 pieces a day for 1080 Ti), add to that failed cards that are not counted
3) It seems that each card count approximately 2600 parts to assembly whereas GTX 1080 Ti had 1600
4) Now it seems there are many RTX that suddendly die ( in major case on FE models, but also on MSI, Gigabyte and Asus)
 
=>Maybe it's something that AIB partners are aware of, and they are possibly dealing with in intern and that would be the cause of a no-availability situation we are facing?
Because counting on about let say 1000 cards a day for a brand (yes i'm counting 800 failed cards on a production of 1800 a day), we should see more availability overall.
 
Regarding on other brands (i can just talk about EU) there is no stock either on other flagship cards (Asus Strix, MSI Trio, Aorus Xtreme) and a very poor choice of card based on availability (on majority Palit Game Pro,Pny XLR8, Gainward Phoenix, Zotac Amp!)

If delay is long because brands are working to prevent future cards to die, ok,personnally i could deal with it, i understand but it would be fair for the brands to be clear with that.
Many of us have already paid with preorders for weeks and i think people should be informed.
Maybe i'm delirium and simply Nvidia is providing their AIB partners a very very few quantity of chips(not enough) and that's the main problem afterall ?
 
Anyway we'll have to be patient, let's hope we all get our cards as early as possible, hope before christmas ...

Not really bad choice. If you can snatch Palit GamingPro OC, it's a great chip, I suspect pre-binned since I had two so far, both running past 2150. XLR8 is actually amazing. Cooling performance and silence with only a double-sized block is great. Can't comment on Phoenix or AMP except for what I've heard, AMP being great so far...
 
Aorus Xtreme is not even released yet AFAIK.
Asus Strix is overpriced, MSI has useless custom design...
 
FTW3 or any EVGA cards are MIA tho. Can't be purchased in Europe and pre-orders never arrived so me and most of my colleagues canceled.
 

What is going on at EVGA? Jacob is not even talking to the EU Customers. How can a good Brand getting so bad? Where are our Preorders? I dont want to read Bot-Mails anymore.

I'd rather have my money producing interest in my own savings account than producing interest for EVGA for up to several months. €1460 is a substantial amount of money...the interest on it makes the card even more expensive.

You are right. It was not clear that they don't care about EU Customers. I don't if i should cancel or not. I am already waiting for so long....

I think one guy in Spain has, and the people who ordered from Caseking.de last week. I certainly have not, and I’m very close to cancelling and going to ASUS.

Well that sucks, Was hoping to get mine before Battlefield launched. This whole situation just blows. 

Croatia, UK and Germany. Several cancellations, because cards weren't delivered week after week of "this Friday" promises and "next week for certain" and other "we've shipped most of pre-orders". The thing is, those announcements never actually include EU and generic emails or "we don't have more info atm" get a bit boring after a while.

I ordered on September 16th from B&H and I still don't have it.

Alright, they should be rolling into work about now. QQ I did that so hard.

I ordered from B&H 9/15. They gave me many false shipping dates that failed to deliver. Now they just told me that "I will get it before the holidays". I think I am just going to order my SLI from the nvidia website like all my other friends. Last year I was also unable to get 1080ti FTW sli and had to order from nvidia. I think FTW takes 3-4 months if not more. Still no guarantee they will be good but they will send you a used card as a replacement so its something.

Didn't Jacob advise like 2 weeks ago they had a shipment on the way to B&H?  Can EVGA not like...track this shipment?  No concern over where it is?
 
Or...did they just make that up?

why would evga track it? If it gets lost the shipping companies insurance would have to cover it. B&H, who apparently doesn't have forums of their own, would be the ones tracking it.
