What software / benchmark are you running to "load" your GPU ? Best to see what it does "stock" - just slide power & temp targets full right - but no OC input as +MHz, on GPU or RAM
then try manual OC - see if it actually runs faster than stock settings

I'm on air, XC Ultra, I can manage +1000 on the memory if I want to, but usually stick around +800 on memory, +140 on core for gaming, +150 for benchmark flexing with fans cranked to 100. I'm usually around 2085mhz or 2100mhz and sub 70c temps.

Gosh I'm so envious of your OC. I'm at stock at 1875Mhz for a rock steady 85° with the coil whine's God with me :D No one can beat me. I'm hope everything will be better soon (RMA).

Ouch, yeah, i’d say an RMA is definitely in order. The memory overclocks like a banshee on these 20 series cards. Good luck buddy, and don’t be afraid to message me if you need a hand in oc’ng it. I’m usually floating around here somewhere, just recently started posting.

Thanks a lot for the help ;) Currently I just want it to run normaly and without turning my computer into a barbecue. I'm more concerning into undervolting than into OC over than needed.

got 150core + 900 memory on previous driver On heaven test everything goes great, it start to goes south on Battlefield V. Battlefield is the game that stress test most this card (at least for me). On Battlefield I had to go down to 140 core clock. on the new driver 419.17 the 140 core clock is no longer stable on battlefield V (I Don't know why) i had to go down to 130. Still rock solid. Btw, i have to run this card with my case opened, otherwise it will get trapped on a heat loop. I get temps around 40~45º C above room temperature. which is usually for me around 70~76ºC.

Can you explain this "heat loop" thing ?

When the case is closed it can't move the hot air fast enough, so my card start to use hot air to cool itself. It creates a loop of hot air so the card only gets hotter and never cool downs properly. The only easy and fast way to solve this for me is to open my case. I'll eventually buy some top 120mm fans so I can have a better air flow inside my case.

Yup yesterday I've tried to push my exhaust fans (one rear + one top) to 100% to see the difference. My 2080 is on RMA so I've test it on a 1070Ti wich was hitting 80° too an Anthem. Believe me or not, I've reduce the temp by 10° !!... Of course it was a bit noisy at full load, even if my fans are some Bequiet 120mm Pure Wings 2 (1650rpm I believe). So I've decided to upgrade this and buy 2 140mm Silent Wings 3 to test, they'll be slower, 1000RPM, but it should help a lot.
