Okay, I guess it was just a bad mount on the watercooled card actually. It's at 57c now, the gigabyte is at 70c. Huh, well, I'm up and running again.

Thanks pimpman, troy, nfm and punchy for all you're doing. Good luck with balancing the zones and let's have a good one. Can prizes be added after the start? wait, did you feel that? that's the excitement building.

I think that prizes can and should be able to be added during the entire run of the contest. We would only need to lock that down when Punchy sets up the prize picker, as far as I know. So, that's MY vote, personally.

Question when the Titan X I just bought two days ago gets here should I not install it for the Challenge? My points estimate looks to be a little low already and adding it will blow that estimate out of the water for sure. If you guys think I should wait it will not hurt my feelings at all.

Thanks guys will see about installing it when it gets here. Off subject but noticed un4givn85 called me Guns, got that name honest while in Vietnam I carried a M60 Machine Gun for 18 months the guys on my LRRP team just started calling me Guns as a result. If you don't know what LRRP is just google it.

Add it, Gunsvnvmc. We expect everyone to give it their all for this contest! Knowing that you will continue using it for Folding after the contest makes it all the more sweeter. Besides if we don't have someone to pick on for sandbagging, it will get very boring. High production and Smack Talking is what makes these contests fun.

Let the smack talk begin I have been in the Chimp Challenge one time, my thoughts say this will be a lot more fun.

The contestant signed up as 'Akariko' has not produced any points yet. If I don't have anything registered from them by the time I run the 12:00 midnight pull (runs after 12:25), which is when I will set the Zero points levels, they will not be eligible to be part of the contest. Can someone take a few minutes and try to touch base with them and see what's up?
Thanks!
Otherwise, we have 78 members entered into the contest system! Rock on!!

I have not followed up on this thread in awhile. Do we have balanced teams? I just signed up as Eastern because I live there. I can switch to another if necessary. Let me know. Also, we should start folding at midnight tonight by just allowing each machine to start a new work unit at that time?

Or start folding now and points may drop earlier. Just don't pause at 99% done and resume at midnight. Otherwise, go go go!

Get those units folding, folks! This is a long haul race, absolutely NO sense in holding back. I'm firing things up and if I have premidnight drops, oh well, they'll make up for it soon enough.
Let's smoke some work units!! d

From the front page. "The 2015 Time Zone Challenge will kick off on Nov 1st at 12:00 AM Eastern Time." So you may be an hour early on that one. On another note, what is up with this monster? 250k on my 780? Life is good!
