I'm looking to get a 1080ti, hopefully hybrid, for folding. I want to just get a small case and stick it in my office at work and let it fold until I need it.

Question 1: could I buy a small used ITX and run a 1080TI with say a i3? The CPU won't be folding, but the recommended for a Titan is a i7-6700k...

Question 2: if yes, anyone know of one for sale?

    I would think:

If the MB has a PCIe 3.0 slot and Z97 or newer chipset it should work, as long as the PSU is up to the challenge and you go with a blower style "stock" fan.  The case will still need some good airflow, my Titan X pascal on air during testing still got very warm on the backside of the card

Airflow will be key, and with only an i3 you may see a slight drop in PPD, but I wouldn't think it would be that much. Also if I recall correctly Jacob said 600w PSU minimum yesterday on the 1080Ti's.

    Yeah but it's only a 220w GPU, 55W CPU, I think I could get by on a 450-550W

Maybe. But definitely check the amperage requirements of the GPU and the PSU's output.
