It seems EVGA wasted two cards on GamersNexus, and those two cards could have been shipped to a waiting pre-order customer last week.
First, GamersNexus sets up EVGA with an "over-engineered" article. Then a few days later they publish a luke-warm review dripping with disdain, essentially saying "skip the FTW3 and go with SC2" because the over-engineered PCB and cooling solution is wasted on a Pascal GPU that nVidia has throttled.
Those two cards GamersNexus took a dump on could have been put to much better use in a paying customer's hands...
If you actually watch the PCB Breakdown video, it's the same card. He mentions it has to go back together again so they can do benchmarks later. He was breaking it down for the pictures used in the over engineered video, then re-assembling to run it through benchmarks.
