Hello everyone,
 
What are the thicknesses of the thermal pads on the Founder edition coolers? Did some searching on the interwebs and came up short. Other than one posting that says use 2.5mm and allow them to squish. Thinking of going back to air cooling and want to make sure I get the correct thickness. Appears to be 2 different sizes on the FE cooler.

    No 2.5 mm pads are too thick
     
    EK Guide correctly install thermal interface material - pads
     
     
    EK mentions both 1.0 mm & 0.5 mm
     
    EK 1080 Ti water block install EK-FC 1080 GTX Ti
