One thing is for sure If I had missed it I would have had one of the modded versions on my card within a few days.
That was my plan at least.
Few thermal pads, some tools and done.
On a side note: Are you guys that got one gonna be using the thermal paste that is coming on the block or replacing it?
before i used what it came with on the gtx 1080 hybird ftw so most likely the same temps were awesome.

I managed to grab two of them; the next day shipping was also crazy cheap, so ended up being not so bad all around. Hope against hope they ship out today but... well, Persona 5 Premium edition got here just as this went live lmao so I guess I can survive an extra day. :P
I went ground with mine... which will be 3 days from CA to WA. No point in rushing for me... I'm waiting for a few days for the delid kit to show up and I plan to delid the CPU at the same time I open up the case to install the hybrid kit. Happier than a pig in (Deleted for Language) that I got one!! LOL 1 click refresh FTW!

Nice.. I'm gonna go ahead and try the paste that it comes with. I mean it shouldn't be old or dried up and it has a nice spread so.. If the temps are good I'll just roll with it.

I'm in Vegas, right next door to EVGA so shipping from them usually only takes about a day or so. Same thing whenever I order from Newegg, it always ships from California and I get stuff within a day or so.

I'm probably gonna replace it. I ordered a delid tool that will be here in a few days and plan to open the case to delid the CPU and install the hybrid at the same time. I bought some paste to use for the Kraken and will probably go ahead and use it on the hybrid too. No reason not to... not doubting the quality of either... I've just gotta replace the paste on one so might as well do both.

This late/short release on 1080 Ti and accessories plus the price gouge on this kit bothered me enough to order another brand.
