Question for those experienced with temps. I currently have a gtx 1080ti SC black running around 75-77C no OC full load. Pretty hot ambient 85F room temps. What would temps be around if I were to add a 2nd 1080 ti SC/SC2 in sli on the top (hotter) card. Any predictions? I have optimized case cooling as much as I could to the point where pulling off side of my case has a 1-2C impact on temps at max.

Most likely what I'm having depending on the space between the cards. Mine has only a single slot space, top gpu hits 83/84. New case is due in this week so I can tweak airflow

You didn't say which PC case you're using but when using two video cards you need as much space as possible. I know some forum members who have zip tied a fan in back of the cards to help with airflow and others who simply decided to watercool the cards or buy two hybrid cards.

Any idea how much I should expect my top cards temp to go up being in sli, compared to single card with my case information provided above?

Remember ACX cooler push Most of the heat out the side fins into the case
 
Top card depending on spacing can be 5 to 10 C warmer than bottom card - with good airflow that removes the heat the cards push into case
 
Temps of 45 to 50 C above ambient (room) are the normal that I've seen on my rigs when air cooled and working the GPU hard (Folding at Home)

My case will be very similar to yours with the same card spacing. What were your top card temps before and after enabling sli. Could you try a game with SLi  off vs on. Any additional tricks that can be done with fans inside the case such as attaching them to the video cards themselves for extra cooling?

Right now with stock cooling, its not to terrible. Which games are you looking for in SLI? I don't have GTAV for PC.. but I got Fallout 4, ghost recon wildlands.. etc.

Highest temperature difference so far is 20'c between top and bottom, and I cant seem to shake it any more or less. There is NO room to put a fan on the hard drive cage, the gpu cage that comes with the case DOES NOT FIT no amtter how I run the card, with or without EVGA Powerlink, it just doesnt fit.

There is no room for the bottom mounted 120mm either so the side door is the ONLY option. I'm looking at replacing the front fan with a bitfenix and same with the side fan just to push more air. I replaced the stock 140mm exhaust fan with a bitfenix one I had and the CLC280 does NOT fit properly on the HAF 932 for top mount. Its only being held up by the 4 middle screws, and even then its not properly aligned at the top. DOES NOT FIT for the CLC280.

Unless you mount it a bit off the brackets. There is also no mount for a SSD on the backside of the motherboard, and I ran out of space for one so I ended up mounting it behind the CD Drive along the side.....

All in all, great case, but definitely at its age. Those saying it would be great were a bit wrong. Maybe it's great past Z97.. but as motherboards get bigger. I'm having doubts on size.

If I go sli, I will make my top card a hybrid edition I believe. That should make things better right? What kind of temps do you actually hit while gaming on the cards?

Games like battlefield 4...

Top GPU: 84'c
Bottom GPU: 54'C

Titanfall 2..

both never hit 50'c

Would be a good idea, make sure they SLi tho. You would most likely run into the same issues I'm having with temperature with that case, simply because its only one fan to the GPU's. The other two at the bottom are HD Bays.

So out of all games, BF4 and 1 make my gpu hit 90c with aggressive fan profile. Nuts.... aside breaking down for 4 120mm fans I'm out of options. Bitfenix spectre 230mm are no match.

Guess I'll keep an eye out and deal with that for now.
