I've had several of those FTW3 cards

Sorry to say, I have No idea how to bypass the missing switch

I'd send it back to the seller

I have one where the Nub broke off the switch (kind of brittle plastic) & a pin was used to change position

Pure Guess on my part - the center is the Common & L & R are the separate BIOS chips

Almost looks like there are two contacts in the center .. pic is not clear enough .. maybe you can Zoom on the original

That make be 4 contact & not just 3 ?

EVGA does not do out of warranty repairs .. I have no contacts for that type of repair

Damaged cards can still bring a good price on eBay & other sites -- for parts surprised how much just a cooler can bring

or expensive wall art, some member seem to collect old hardware for display

Sorry I can't be of more help

In my estimation, that takes a sliding Single-Pole Double-Throw (SPDT) switch where the center is the common contact and the left and right would be the different BIOS contacts..The center contact always remains in contact with either the left or right contact..Shorting the center contact to the right contact (nearest the PCIe power connectors) would be the OC/Slave BIOS..Shorting the center contact to the left contact (away from the PCIe power connectors) would be the Normal/Primary BIOS.

Here and here are some switches.

However you wanna try cobbling it is up to you..There's electrically conductive tape..Electrically conductive adhesive..Electrically conductive epoxy..Solder..Check Amazon, auto parts store, or wherever, to find stuff.

Clean up the contacts with some very fine sandpaper (maybe 600 grit).

It looks to me that the pads are ripped off, but maybe not.  There might not be anything there to properly solder to.

Do you need the BIOS switch to function?  I mean, is the card not functioning without it?

You could flash the OC BIOS to whatever position it is "stuck" at currently, and it would behave the same as if you were able to flip the switch.

Yes it works perfectly. But somehow i just wanted to have the possibility to switch just in case, so i made like a small connection with a wire between 2-3. It works either way. I also put it on a kraken g12 with corsair h105 and it clocks insane.

Nice ..Refer to the comment at the bottom of my signature

I was also thinking that a small alligator clip would do the trick too..That way you could just simply move the clip to change between the Normal and OC BIOS if/when you wanted to.

If you try/use an alligator clip I think it would be a good idea to file the teeth flat..Take the points off so they don't bite into the contact pads on the card and end up damaging them

So my switch still has a bit of the housing and plastic, but there still are three "pads" showing inside that plastic so I assumed using some metal to bridge these would work the same way as your situation but it didn't seem to work and I'm still stuck at 117% power limit. Any suggestions on what to do next would be appreciated. may be hard to see in the photos, had to lower quality to upload

Can not get this to work, tried three different types of wire and I'm still on 117%, and an alligator clip does not seem like it would be small enough but if someone could find one that looks small enough I'll try it. Don't get how this was so easy for the other guy lol

I can't believe it was that easy either.

Can you please post some more pictures of how you set up the clip itself? I have the exact same issue and can't get this to work.
