1080 FTW2 with EKWB vs Hydro Copper
 
Looking at running 2 Water-cooled overclocked cards in SLI. Which would you recommend and why?

INTEL i7 5930K - ASUS RAMPAGE V - EVGA 1080 CLASSIFIED (X2) - 64GB DOMINATOR PLATINUM 2400MHZ - CORSAIR H110i - SANDISK EXPREME PRO 1TB (X2). EVGA G2 1000 - CORSAIR 750D - ACER PREDATOR X34 CURVED. RAZER BLACKWIDOW CHROMA V2 -  RAZER DEATHADDER ELITE - RAZER ORBWEAVER CHROMA

The consensus is you can't use a full cover block on the new PCB.

It is possible, although unlikely. They did help end users when the 980 K|ngp|n thing happened. This is a lot different than that situation though.

Isn't going to take much....just gotta cut that corner off the block.  I might just do it myself.  The only reason I'm even considering it, is because of the 90day step up advantage for going to the 1080ti, just in case they drop in the next 90 days, which looks likely.

Is there going to be an issue with the header at the far end of the card which is no longer a 4 pin but a 6 pin and therefore slightly larger?
Or is that the one you are talking about?

I don't think the one on the end is going to be an issue.  The cutout in the acrylic is quite large already.  The one I'm concerned about is this one (circled in blue, bottom left).
