I recently heard that the GTX 1060 is taking a price drop. Is this true? If so how soon?

    Not while ETH hasn't hit POS yet.  Sorry.  It will still be in high demand and be high priced due to it.  Same with the 1070.  Blame the miners.

    We'll be lucky to see the 1060 at MSRP in the near future. It's still largely unavailable, and when available is priced above MSRP.
