Ordered one from Newegg... 2000 is a big number so I'm sure I'm safe on the mouse pad... I'm just interested in how well it works... the RAT 7 I had was jumpy and stunk... the Abyss I use is good but uncomfortable at times.

Just ordered the carbon fiber torq x10 from newegg, hope it lasts longer than my new bought Razer Mamba which I will be reselling when I get this! Just have a question, you need to receive the mouse first in order to register for the free mouse pad?

If you want the mouse i wouldn't cancel the pre-order. If you wait for it to be on evga.com you will probably have to pay the full $120 MSRP. It could be 3 months after the mouse is released before we see it listed on evga.com store.

Yay! Pre-ordered the carbon as well. When I saw this thing as an idea a while back a think I drooled a little. Years ago I thought of a metal framed mouse, I thought it was just necessary when I rage over 1.6 and slam it down, oh the days. My roommate has a nice metal framed one that makes me a little jelly, just he wait! Hehe.
Too bad it doesn't come with a white preference for LED's, may just have to mod it...
Thanks Evga, hopefully the quality will please me. Can't say the same about the Hadron's plastic thumb screws :/
