Supported RAM list will be out after the launch date. EVGA tries to test as many combinations as possible. My guess is it will work fine.

Certainly would expect it too, as Asus have released new BIOS for their X79 iterations to support IVY-E already. Ridesy

Looking at the manual, I had a few questions:
1. Is that a 6 pin PCIe connector at the bottom left corner of the board? There's nothing on this on page 17.
2. Also at the bottom of board, is that a speaker?
3. The 2 USB 2.0 headers can be used for anything I guess? I have an H100i to be connected to one of them. The manual talks about connection of optional external backets.
4. If I add a sound card to PCIe lane 6 at the bottom and I have and SLI configuration for PCIe lanes 1 and 3, will SLI still operate at x16?
5. Can you flash the bios with a USB flash drive on the back of the board?

Wow, according to that link, there will be at least some stock in some places on 8-813. Interesting.
And more importantly, you can pre- order now!  I'm going to wait because there price is kinda a little excessive. $20 prof I can see, but $60 on the MSRP is a little much.
