DARK! Installed, watered, plugged in, Windows 8.1...Boot to logon in 17 seconds! I've seen this problem before with quad SLI - but, it was 3 AM and I was getting a little loopy and can't remember how to fix it... BIOS (2.07 currently) shows all three 780 Ti cards, GEN 3 Windows shows all three 780 Ti cards...BUT shows a driver error when windows starts...disable, enable in Control Panel fixes for current boot cycle NIVIDIA control panel only shows two cards (both as GEN 3)... Bad SLI bridge(s)? I haven't had a chance to check each card individually...I'll do that when I get home from work. I did swap SLI bridges (new, 3 way "pretty" EVGA LED bridge for ugly, 3 way "old style")...no change. 1500W (seperate power for dual cooling loops) 4960X 32 GB Corsair Dominator (awesome, 1 BIOS click to 2400 with XMP) Dual Samsung SSD raid 0 on Intel SATA 3 Quad WD raid 5 on Intel SATA 2 DARK! Moved from SR-2...and so far, GREAT BOARD!

Have you made sure that the BIOS has all pci-e slots enabled? Advanced >> IOH Config >> Make sure all are enabled & set to Gen3. Also verify that your GPU connections are snug on both PSU & GPU ends.

With the 4960X I would recommend going to Bios 2.09

Thanks ...all connections secure ...did flash to 2.09 One thing that did help was changing the XTECH setting to the board 6 pin for PCIE power...that eliminated the windows startup fault But, I have not been able to get 3 way SLI working with new 780ti's in slots 1,2,4 or 2,4,6. I didn't try the "spread out" 1,3,6 setup. Reinstalled the old, 4 way 670s with UEFI VBIOS without issues. Maybe a bad 780ti? I will test the cards later on another computer but I have work to do so this will have to suffice for now...maybe when the Titan Black comes out I'll revisit the issue! Other than that, this board ROCKS! Although, I can't decide if I really like UEFI vs standard BIOS...

Yeah, you may want to test each card by itself to verify a card issue or not. Just my opinion here, but I would use slots 1,3, & 6 for 3-way. That will offer the best cooling setup with the extra space between each card...

...any idea where to find an SLI bridge for that configuration?

I don't know if any of these will work: https://www.google.com/#q...dge+cable&tbm=shop

Enable CSM. boot to desktop. disable SLI. then reboot back to UEFI. disable CSM and boot back to desktop. Enable SLI. Reboot and see if that works. I've had to do this before with 8.1pro

You should be able to use the 4-way bridge that came with the board I believe. It's worth a try. I know you can use a 3way bridge on a 2way config, so I'm thinkiing it will work. If you try it that way, post back if it worked or not...

4 way bridge works for 1 and 6 slots but 3 is a "half" slot off...that's why I went with 1,2,4 and 2,4,6 because those match "traditional" 3 way SLI spacing (and bridges)... I will try the 1,3,6 with two, flexible bridges next weekend...but, my 4GB 670 quad (1,2,4,6) SLI is working quite well...and the BLACK is available = new dilemna... I want to go to the GSYNC surround when ASUS finally releases the 120Hz, 1440 monitor and ultimately to 4K surround which will require a LOT of VRAM

Bummer the 4way bridge was a no go on slots 1,3,6. But your idea about a couple 2way flexible bridges is a good one. That may work out for you if you stick with the 3way setup... I'm waiting also for Gsync with a 27", 120Hz preferred, and 1440P as well... I'll stick with a single display though.

I am hoping they offer the upgrade module for my Asus 27" 144 hz monitor at some point as well...
