So apparently the new 1080 FTWs are a good 0.5" taller than the 980 SC
 
I had a moment and did a 30min case mod as nothing will come between me and 1080 FTW godliness 
 
On the plus side my GPU vents hot air really well now....

    Temperature of CPU, GPU and motherboard now will be much lower.

    I would love to have that problem Zach. lol   I wonder if a spacer of some type would work, I know you cured it... I bet Gone Cruising could make a cool side panel for you as well. Hope you're enjoying the new card!
