For the people that have received their cards is it normal to not receive a queue number. I submitted my request about a week ago and it only says pending. Also how long is this expected to take? I am from Canada.

Yes it is.
Be prepared to wait  for weeks if not for months...

I just shipped out my 2 660s for 970s Step Up via USPS. The reason I used USPS is because there is a real problem with mishandled packages here in Burbank (city in Los Angeles) when using UPS or FedEx. I've had to file half a dozen claims in the past 2 years with UPS and FedEx, but all of my USPS packages arrive undamaged. One UPS package (gaming monitor) was so badly damaged that the cables that came with it had fallen out of the box. After filing several complaints about my delivery driver, I noticed several weeks later my route had a new driver. Another time I was waiting on a FedEx package (mid-tower case) and I saw the delivery driver kick the box across my apartment building's courtyard while talking on his cell phone. I was not pleased to say the least. 
 
My USPS delivery person is really nice and he always places the boxes carefully on my doorstep (I setup a webcam because of UPS and FedEx). My old 660s are out for delivery in Brea right now as I'm typing this, and I am confident they will arrive in pristine condition.
 
I hope EVGAs receiving dept doesn't laugh too hard at my packing material, when I went to the post office they were out of stock of packing material, so I used what I had in my car. I ripped up a smaller box for the bedding, and used some clean shop rags, and some reusable shopping bags scrunched up to pad the sides and top. Totally ghetto, but it passed the shake test, and besides, the cards are just going from one side of Los Angeles to the other.

I agree about USPS. My USPS guy happens to be my neighbor as well so I know once it's in his hands, he will take care of it. Before that who knows.

I'm from Canada as well...

So my card should be here tomorrow, thank you eVGA! you guys are awesome! Will be running a three way sli'd 980s, all eVGA  Now I gotta keep an eye out so I can get the 4th one for my 4-way sli 

If EVGA doesn't ship out my new 970s today, I will be forced to go outside and play in the real world this weekend. I tried that once, but I couldn't figure out how to get past the first level, and the brightness was stuck on 100%. Any tips?

I'm waiting on 2x 970 SC's; 980's are outside my build budget at the moment.
