WHEW!!!!!! what a thread!!! The OP went of the deep-end at #1 post. Then etc..etc...etc...whew. To much drama for me ;)


 
Spending $1400 on card and both going to crap in usch short time have plenty of right to complain
 
Myself and plenty of other people were under impression only nvidia had control of FE also nvidia doesn't offer pre OC cards so they dont discriminate on GPU's these AIB say they don't but I still believe the higher quality chips are put aside for pre OC cards.

I am enjoying my "unmarked" 1080 FE; that came in a EVGA box - quit well thank you - install yesterday 1 AM - Nice Folder
 
No coil whine - check
 
Stable OC - check
 
Folding it heart out @ 2037 MHz & for the last 24 Hrs  - check
 
 


Same. I'm totally and completely satisfied with my Evga 1080 GTX F.E. Runs 2000mhz core OC, 5400mhz memory OC , no coil whine, or temp issues. 


congrats pretty much any 1080 can hit those clocks

OK, still testing might OC higher, currently Folding & want to avoid crash = 0 points, so I'm testing in controlled stages.
 
Folding non-stop for the last 44 hours @ 90% to 99% GPU load ---> Rock solid, on air
