Hello everyone.  Nube here. I actually registered two years ago but for some reason I was never able to post anything here until now.
Ok,  I have a question regarding my motherboard, which is a EVGA x58 3X SLI Classified.  I am currently connecting the audio connections to various equipment in my recording studio. One of the outputs(orange) is labeled in the manual as a "center/subwoofer" output.  Is this output MONO or STEREO?  I would assume it is MONO, but the manual doesn't specify which.
Thanks.

I have lots more questions but I will address each of  them later.

It's two mono channels. One for the sub and the other for the center.

Hi guys, thanks for the reply. Ok, if it is two MONO channels, how do I know which is which, as wouldn't the sub channel carry different information than the center channel, which is for dialog, no? Or do they both carry the same signal and the sub filters the dialog? I've seen so many different setup's and each is different, as far as subs are concerned. As for my sub, it actually has stereo inputs, and has speaker outputs for right and left front speakers, but I don't use it like that. I simply use the front and rear outputs on the mobo to drive seperate amps, as my system is set up for many different applications. In fact, I only use the mobo outputs for daily monitoring of internet stuff and to do  a reference check of mixdown recordings on small computer speakers, vs actual studio monitoring over soffit mounted studio monitors when recording. In reality, I have 3 different sets of audio monitors...far field soffit mount monitors, near field monitors and small computer type on the bridge of the console. The computer monitors are part of a sound surround system(hence the sub) to watch movies on my computer. I have a speaker/amp selection unit to switch in the studio monitors when I want to.
In reality, when I am actually recording to computer, I have a Maudio 10 in/10 out audio interface card on the mobo. The mobo audio outs are only used for reference checks upon mixdown of multitrack material.  I use Reaper as my recording app.
However guys, my setup is a hybrid, as I love analog, having two synchronized Tascam 16 track reel to reels when I want to.  The digital end is mostly used for mixdown, as I really don't like to record digital tracks very often.
Here's a pic of my little home studio during construction.

Which brings me to my next questions. As you can see in the pic above,  my EVGA motherboard is in one of two computers that reside in a custom built soundproof computer enclosure below the mixer.  The dark area(behind a smoke plexiglass door) below the mixer, on the right, is my EVGA computer.  The adjacent space on the left is for a Gigabyte computer, which I am just finishing up today.
However, because these computers are reverse rackmounted on drawer guides, and pull out the rear of the enclosure, I can't read any of the post codes on the motherboard, nor can I easily remove the computer because of the ton of wiring and cables connected through a port through the back of the enclosure.  With the 10in 10out Maudio recording interface,  MIDI, audio, timecode, network, video monitors, power, on off switch module cables and many others that have to be removed, it's actually a pain in the butt to remove the computers.  This is why I am looking for a couple of remote things to install up on my console.  One being a EVGA Control Panel(ECP) and some kind of remote fan control/temp meter.  Does any one know if the ECP is still available for this motherboard? Also, can anyone recommend a remote fan control/temp meter unit, preferably one that can be plugged into an expansion slot connection cover? I need the temp thing so I know if the computers are overheating.  Due to the design of this enclosure, the air path has been reversed, whereby air is drawn into the computer by the rear fan, which is fed by a custom plenum air path, and hot air is removed via an axial fan under each computer, with the hot air being exhausted through a sound controlled plenum.  As my computers are in a soundproof room, the computers themself needed to be soundproof as well, which is why they are completely enclosed. Here's a few Sketchups showing how it works.

These two computer cases are highly modded to fill my needs.
Anyway, sorry for the long post.  At least this gives you an idea what I'm working with and why I'm doing certain things. And thanks for the answers. I do have more questions about the EVGA mobo though. Lot's to learn. More on that later.

hmmm, I inserted 3 images,  and they showed up while I was writing my post, but they disappeared when I posted. I edited the post and re-inserted the images..but to no avail.  Anyone know what is going on?

hmmm, let me try this instead.

I have these images on a host server, but I can't get them to insert. So I simply attatched the files. PITA.

I relize this sounds like a pain in the but. how ever have you though of water cooling
them that would solve any over heating issues. something like this
    http://www.corsair.com/us/cpu-cooling-kits/hydro-series-water-cooling-cpu-cooler/hydro-series-h90-140mm-high-performance-liquid-cpu-cooler.html
and reverse the air flow of this cooler. and atach it to where your fan is sucking air in. sorry i dont
know what the size of the fans are you are using. these can be twice as effictive as air cooling.
as for temps readings you can use real temp software to read your temps real time and show on your
    screen.http://www.tomsguide.com/us/download/Real-Temp,0301-27484.html

Yeah definitely go with water cooling if your scared of overheating. If you get a closed loop you don't really have to maintain it that often

Hi guys. Thanks for your opinion. And yes, I did research it at the beginning of this project, but to tell you the truth, I was more worried about leaks than overheating.  As I am semi retired, and on a fixed income(low), I pretty much had to DIY on everything. I'm really not into computer modding either, as I only modded these two cases out of need.  And frankly, I'm not THAT worried. After all, each computer has a really efficient Axial fan.  As to the remote temp thing, it's just to ease my mind mostly. Hahahahaha. So thanks anyway. It's WAY too late for adding a water system now. I hate even pulling the computers out now, even though I just had to rebuild the Gigabyte computer from the mobo up, and replaced the GPU on the EVGA board. That process took two weeks, which I could have been recording. Ok, well, thanks for your insights.
I do have another question though. When the EVGA mobo posts, right at the beginning, a prompt comes up stating..NO DRIVES DETECTED..NO DRIVES FOUND..or something to that effect. I know the bios DOES detect them, but I can't find any way to remove or reconcile that prompt.  Any ideas why this comes up at post? Thanks

If that is the prompt for the Jmicron ports (the red ones on the motherboard) and you have nothing connected to them, you can disable the Jmicron ports in the BIOS. That would eliminate that prompt and speed your boot up a bit.
