Post # 28 is wrong, just saying. This is an issue with powering off monitors, issue does not exist with standby; nor is it unique to DP, HDMI will do the same thing; and it's not EDID info that is the issue, it's hot plug detect DDC/CI.
 
EVGA tech support is not very informed on this issue it seems.

Alright! I downloaded it again and got a completely different file.
 
Once I open Phoenix.exe what should I do?




You need to extract the EDID info then create an INF to load with the EDID data, or might be possible to load via registry with this: http://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-Custom-Resolution-Utility-CRU
 
Frankly I don't want to write up a guide on how to do custom EDID, there are plenty out there, google "custom EDID windows". Frankly it sounds like you would be best off just using the persistent windows software.
