Ok got the AX860 up and running! Haven't had the system crash yet after running some games for 20mins.

Where is the Corsair AX860 on that?  Is it one of the "AX MK #" ones in the top tier?



AX is tier 1, that's why I suggested it.

Honestly, I wouldn't trust much from Tom's.  This list has served me well with several recent builds...

I had pretty much the same exact problems with my 980 ti hybrid so I rma'd the card I sent it back to Evga. The customer service was super helpful and told me that the pump whining/making clicking noises is not normal.  My replacement should be here next monday so just in time before the Mgs:PP release date. Hope this one is fine.
